The Paris agreement stipulates that countries should pursue efforts to meet the 1.5-degree target, a much more ambitious target than the 2-degree target. The UN climate panel IPCC has decided to write a special report on the subject and as part of that, 200 scientists and experts from around the world will gather for a conference in Oxford, UK: 1.5 Degrees, Meeting the Challenges of the Paris Agreement.
Biorecro participates in the conference with a presentation on how BECCS can contribute to the 1.5-degree target and the importance of rapid scale up the technology to enable the target.
